LCC 2730 · Constructing a Moving Image

A machinima short that opens as a throwback to 1950s shows promising the luxuries of the future, if you buy the right products, and ends with a twist.

We learned the cinematic essentials (lighting, mise-en-scène, camera angles) while modeling in Maya and building levels in Unreal. Apart from the characters and the final environment, we built every model ourselves, and we wrote scripts and storyboards for each shot.

My roles

Director: Came up with the concept and set the film's direction.
